Stevens-Henager College Hosts Social Media “How-to” Event



Stevens-Henager College announced today an event for local professionals and individuals interested in maximizing their social media efforts. On July 27, Stevens-Henager will host a complimentary event called “Social Media: Nine Considerations for When and How to Use It” that is open to the Mountain Home community. The event will focus on all aspects of social media use in a professional setting.

 Event attendees will explore different social media platforms and how to get results, as well as the different demographics associated with particular sites. Other takeaways will include:


  • Identifying high-performing social media sites and tools
  • Tips on what to write or post through social media
  • How to measure social media efforts
  • Finding and focusing efforts on the right target audience 

The event will be offered in conjunction with Mountain Home Economic Development.


 Stevens-Henager College has branch locations in Boise, Idaho Falls (a branch of CollegeAmerica Flagstaff), and Nampa (a satellite of Boise), which offer degree programs. The college’s Study Cafe in Mountain Home provides support to students enrolled in the online programs offered by Stevens-Henager’s Salt Lake City/Murray campus in Utah. Approximately 650 students in the state of Idaho are enrolled in one of the college’s business, graphic arts, healthcare, or information technology degree programs.
