Stone Age People Used Paraphernalia

Evidence has been found by the researches in South America which proves that the Stone Age tribes prepared mixtures of hallucinogenic herbs which were sniffed. An American archaeologist and a British researcher are credited with discovery on a Carribean island, Carriacou to be exact.

They found things which included mixing bowls made up of ceramic and tubes which where used for inhaling powders or fumes. They are estimated to have originated on the mainland between a time line of 400 BC and 100 BC. The mimosa species of plant was likely to be used.

So far scientists have believed that humans have used mind-expanding drugs as long as 5000 years ago, but they never had any proof for this statement. They think the drugs were been used for spiritual or religious purposes.
