Mumbai Terrorists targeted foreigners, say eyewitnesses

Terrorists who took several hostages in Oberoi hotel specifically asked for people with "American or British passports", says a Briton who escaped from the Oberoi hotel

Encounter is still on at the Taj hotel and at the Oberoi. There are also reports of a bomb that was defused outside the same hotel.

There is no confirmation on whether the hostage situation is over at the Oberoi hotel. There are reports of two terrorists gunned down after they ran from the Oberoi.
