The Autonomous Regime could lose 30,000 members in 2011
The fall is less than that experienced in the years following the start of the crisis.
The forecasts for 2012 continue to be "negative" according to Secretary of UPTA.
"Do not bet on self-employment because of distrust in the economy."
The Union of Professionals and Self-Employed (UPTA) has advanced to the Special Scheme for Self-Employed (RETA) will close 2011 with a fall of 30,000 members , despite having registered in the first half of the year an increase of 8,000 workers.
The secretary general of the organization, Sebastián Reyna , pointed out that despite expectations, made from the perspective of Spanish growth of 1% for this year were an increase of 30,000 members but "the force of the crisis" has worsened the situation.
In 2009, lost nearly 153,000 members, the worst year in history of independent work , however, Reyna has insisted that the fall is less than that experienced in the years following the start of the crisis, because in 2008 there was a decrease more than 93,000 members, while in 2009 it lost nearly 153,000, being the worst year in the history of self-employment.
Therefore, it has highlighted that 2011 continues the trend begun in 2010 which slowed the fall of affiliates to RETA, with the loss of 56,500 members. However, he noted that the forecasts for 2012 continue to be "negative" while not observe hints of confidence.
For Reyna, one of the main differences of this crisis with the above is that in addition to the massive casualties occur no higher , that is not committed to self-employment because of distrust of economic developments.
"Today we are experiencing a crisis of entrepreneurship, there are no people willing to undertake , and that's the first thing you should analyze the new government , "he stressed.
Regarding the proposals raised by Mariano Rajoy in its election manifesto, Reyna has welcomed some of them as the amendment of the VAT , but said that "complicates" the steps to the declarant.
Prioritizes UPTA covenant income to labor reform and appeals to social agreement to link the pricing policy has also highlighted the importance of the measure on the bonus of social contributions for the self employed who hire a worker , but has qualified this proposal would have an effect "slower."
It has therefore recommended the new government to launch "immediately," the bonus share for new self-employed, considering that is "low cost" and "efficient" to be linked because of the high security in Social lets you recover the money "quickly".
On the other hand, Reyna has presented data from self-employment in 2010, a directory service that has put the new government as a tool of analysis of the situation.
It has also prioritized the covenant of income to labor reform, but has appealed to the need to link the social agreement to a pricing policy , since the costs of unchecked power, transmission and distribution believed to be impossible to reduce the cost of production.
