Tokyo: Prepare a lot of money

This is only suggestion for people from Indonesia and Other parts of countries who will visit Tokyo, Japan in a short time. The living cost there is expensive. According to survey recently, Tokyo is top five countries with the most expensive living cost in the world. At the survey also, Moscow is on the top list. As the comparison, riding a cab one should pay started from ¥700, additional amount will charge for kilometers trip.

How expensive is depend on our national currency exchange rate against the foreign currency exchange rate. In IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) currency, the cab ride is about Rp. 77,000 for the ¥700.

If going for trips unless you rent vehicle, you may consider for the parking fee. As your consideration, one hour parking fee is rated at about Rp. 35,000 per hours. Just imagine if you park the vehicle there for several hours. How much you have to spend.

The best alternatives are using the subway or railway for travel beside public bus. Tokyo so far has 29 railway stations with the line surrounding the city. It is well known as Yamanote Line. 13 subway line was also connected inbound and outbound the city and being operated by Tokyo Underground Railway Company or Tokyo Metroline.  Travel using subway? One have to spend between ¥190 to ¥1,340 per 18 to 23 minutes of traveling.

Most travelers and citizens saw it as the most reasonable price which compare to the others transportation mode. If you confused for the schedule, price list and direction using the subway, you may check out the website at www.tokyo-subway.net.

Each subway trains unless broken, each train arrive at platform will stop between 18, 21 and 23 minutes to loading and unloading passengers onboard. The train itself said to be schedule to run from 4:00 AM to 01:20 AM local time everyday except public holiday.
