Twitter relays info on Holocaust Museum shooting in Washington, D.C.



Per the Washington Post, two people, including a security guard, were shot today inside the U.S. Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. The shooting was reported to police at 12:52 p.m. local time.

The first tweet on the incident came around that time from a Twitterer in nearby Maryland.

The Holocaust Museum is a “living memorial, inspiring citizens to confront hatred, promote human dignity and prevent genocide,” according to the Bio on its Twitter account @HolocaustMuseum.
