Vermont legalizes gay marriage

Montpelier: Vermont becomes the fourth state to legalize the gay marriage, according to media reports.
The legislature voted Tuesday to override Gove. Jim Douglas’s veto of a bill allowing gays and lesbians to marry
It is now the fourth state to permit same-sex marriage, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Lowa are the others.
The approval of the gay marriage came from the courts, according to media reports.
