´´Crown princess Victoria and Mr Daniel Westling follows a long tradition in the Bernadotte family to make June 19 to a memorable day´´, the Royal Court writes on their website.

They want to have the wedding June 19 for two reasons.

The Swedish Royal couple married that day.

June 19 2010 it was 200 years ago as the first Bernadotte was elected as the Swedish successor.

King Carl XVI Gustav says that they need increased appropriation from the government to finance the wedding.
