A published article in the La stampa Newspaper 'The Lunch Time Swingers', discloses that almost 500,000 Italian couples are officially swapping partners at private sex clubs, and thousands more doing it in a more ad-hoc fashion in car parks, specially designated beaches or even in the cemeteries. Hope dead ones do not get up to witness the detail of their new found passion.

The statistics suggest that a quarter of all Italian couples regularly take part in wife swapping. You can anticipate which way the world is going round or at least where does Italy leading the world. Italy has many distinction of being typical in many sphere of lifestyle and this could be the new lifestyle. The recent increased in the wife swapping data, as quoted, is because of the overwhelming impact of the use of Internet in the country.

Internet seems to have broken all the taboos in communication and other related information which were tough to be available to the general public and that protected them to be conservative. But now, the obscenity and porn stuff are not the limiting factor on the internet, things seems to have multiplying at faster rate.

According to the findings of “The International Federation for the Protection of Rights and Freedoms, or Federsex, in Rome, wife swapping organizations have 500,000 members and they meet in 200 private clubs across Italy and swap partners.

But the Federsex experts suggest that the data is too little to be the real scenario. There exists closer to two million, or a quarter of the eight million sexually active couples across the country. The age group of females and males are reported to be between 35 to 43. Moreover the pouring out of the sexual passion by way of swapping wife could take place during any time of the day and it need not be the activity of night. It might even take place during the lunch hour.

The participants are no laymen or pantheon of absurdity, these are all accountant, doctors, footballers and even politicians, as one of the club quoted.
