Rebel Verses

There is beauty

In a world gone mad

In the eyes of a child.

Bullet shells are toys

Killng fields playgrounds

Til fantasy ends

And harsh reality begin.

If only for a while

You'd have wished to go back

Be a child once more

Find comfort in a toy gun

Instead of that .45 in your hand.
