College Student Committed Suicide by Jumping into Lake Because of Unrequited Love

Vikas, 21, committed suicide by jumping into the lake in the afternoon from a boat he was on with his friend, to whom he was proposing.

A failed love affair, the police said, "prompted Vikas to take the extreme step." When he proposed to the girl, she refused. He could not tolerate this and jumped into the lake.
