Comforting a teething baby

(Being a mother of 5 beautiful children I know a thing or two, better yet tips if you will about what to do when your baby is fussing when their teething)
When I came across this title I couldn’t helped but to write an article on this. This is right up my alley of expertise being a mom of 5 beautiful children and our recent one being 5 months old I’ve been through this a time or two.
As most of us know every single child is different it doesn’t matter if their related or not they are still individuals and therefore will experience things differently. There seems to be a lot of speculations about the time frame of when babies will start to teeth some say 6months or later some say sooner. It just all depends on the child there are even some who start teething a lot earlier than 6 months. Remember if you’re ever in doubt it’s always wise to check with your child’s doctor.
Now let talk about the signs how to know when your baby is teething there are some very obvious signs that as seasoned parents will recognize them right away. Usually when a baby is teething he/she will begin to drool constantly, they will also want to constantly chew on their fingers, hands, whatever else they can get a hold of. Another sign is crankiness for no reason they will start to fuss.
I remember when my older kids were teething most of 2out of the 5 showed absolutely no signs of teething what so ever while the other 3 including the baby because she is starting to teeth now showed all of the signs that I mentioned. Also another sign is they can have a runny nose and sometimes a cough. One thing you want to watch out for is if they do develop a fever seek medical help as it may be something more than teething.
Something you might want to watch for when their teething is that when their teething sometimes when their trying to chew on their fingers they may gag their self. There are some simple things you can do to help relieve them a little and that are getting some teething rings. There are all sorts out there and you can find them in any baby section your favorite store. The kind I like the best is the ones you can freeze because the coldness helps to numb and sooth their gums if you choose these kind look for the ones that have sterilize drinking water so that if a tooth appears and they bit a whole in it the water won’t hurt them.
If you baby is older and eating solid foods something else you can try is baby biscuits or crackers look in the aisle where baby food is sold.
