Drinking Coffee Reduces Danger of Stroke Among Women

Good news for coffee lovers.

In a recent study, it was found out that drinking coffee lessens the danger of stroke among women.

And increase intake of coffee is an additional protection according to a study done by Spanish and American Researchers.

It was discovered after a recent study in the relation of drinking coffee and stroke among thousands of women in America.

It was also indicated that coffee can give protection against diabetes.

But it was not a good news among smokers. This is because drinking coffee for a long time cannot protect them if they are smoking.

According to the co-author of the study, Rob M. van Dam, assistant professor of Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, ““Many people have been very concerned that coffee might actually be a risk factor for stroke, that it might, in fact, increase the risk of stroke. But here we saw that it might end up being beneficial rather than detrimental.”

The result of their study will come in the March 3 issue of their circulation.
