Aspirin is widely used in alleviation of fever and as an excellent painkiller and anti-inflammatory drug and, to prevent strokes and heart attacks. The chemical name of aspirin is acetyl salicylic acid or Acetasalicylic acid, a white crystalline compound. But the surprising thing is that aspirin has got many uses apart from being a medicine.
