Some arthritis treatments are being helpful, although there is no cure for reactive arthritis:
-Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) are a common solution for the patients that suffer of reactive arthritis, by reducing the joint infflammation. NSAIDs include medication such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Indomethacin and Tolmetin. The use of nonsteroidal drugs for a long term can cause serious side effects;

Narcotic analgesics, such as morphine, oxycodone, and the synthetic opioid narcotics are dangerous and cause addiction.Corticosteroid Shots injections/ glucocorticoids are very powerful drugs that are applied directly into the affected joint are helpful against arthritis severe joint inflammation by blocking the production allergic substances.
-Topical Corticosteroids are incorporated into medical lotions in order to be applied on the affected area, as they reduce the pain.
-Antibiotics are a good treatment against bacterial infections associated with reactive arthritis.
-Immunosuppressives / DMARDs proved to be efficient against reactive arthritis effects.
