Religious Views on Death
In every walk of life and in every religion, There is a different view of death. Some pleasant and some not too pleasant. It really just depends on the religion.
In some religions, it is believed that the soul finally escapes the body and begins it's journey to a better world. In other cultures, it is believed that when a person does hideous crimes and gets away with it, in death, that persons soul is tortured for it's wrong doings and then gets destroyed.
Many people say that at the time of death, The persons soul, sticks around to see their loved ones one last time before going on to it's journey to the afterlife.
In other religions, It is said that when a person dies, the soul departs and chooses a new body to continue it's existence. It is a process known as Reincarnation.
Many people claim to have been reincarnated and some of them can actually touch things that often makes them recall their past life. In a process called Past Life Regression, these subjects tend to recount their past life's in great accurate details.
Most religions have their own view of death, but no one really knows what goes on after we die. The only ones that do, are those who passed on.
