Armored Car Struck On Freeway
Walking across the street, I heard a loud crunch and I wondered where it came from. So, looking down at the freeway I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. And as I kept my gaze onto the various freeway lanes, I then spotted an Armored car resting right up against the center divider, apparently disabled with its' warning lights flashing.
I looked around for any other vehicle that might have been involved, and to the right on the shoulder I spotted a vehicle that also had its' lights flashing. Althought there was some debris on the freeway, there did not appear to be any injured people, from my vantage point.
The evening rush hour traffic was distracted by the armored car resting up against the medium, but otherwise nobody was stopping. And it was a good thing, too. Because at this time of day there are a crew of folks who are charged to handle such accidents.
Later, I did see a emergency vehicle assisting the other vehicle that was sitting on the shoulder.
And, in the course of my observation, I did not see any CHP on the scene, or a medical emergency team.
