Minister administered oath to newly elected cabinet of Legal Aid Forum



 Oath taking ceremony held. Provincial Ministr took oath from newly elected cabinet of LAFH.


 


CHITRAL:  Provincial Minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan said that provincial government solving women problems on top priority. He said that provincial assembly approved 2% quota for women folk on the request of lady MPA. He was addressing to oath taking ceremony from newly elected cabinet of Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights (LAFH) Chitral who was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided over by district Naib Nazim Sultan Shah. He said we supporting women folk to come forward and play a vital role in development of nation and country. he said that me by self giving top priority to establish and up-grade girls school and that why I approved a girls degree college at Drosh  He said that situation remained tense due to insurgency at Malakand Division but I am thankful to religious clerics  of Chitral who play excellent role in peace maintaining  at Chitral. He said that there is great conspiracy on international level to damage our nuclear Islamic state but all of them would be failed badly because this country is specially supporting and patronizing by Allah Almighty. He said I tried of my best for development of Chitral and Chitral was also included in Malakand package by my efforts.


 


 He said that work on Lawari tunnel would be resumed in near future and it was also converted in road tunnel instead of rail tunnel. He said that I have specially requested to federal government for conducting a survey to link Pakistan to Central Asian republics through Chitral and a successful survey was conducted in this regard and Chitral will be linked to Tajikistan and other central Asian republics which will be declared a great dry port and causing for boosting country economy. He said  that I  had requested Governor NWFP for opening of Campus of Peshawar or Malakand University who principally agreed for opening its campus at Chitral. He said that I raised a voice on the floor of assembly for increasing of unattractive area allowance for government employees which was increased from 500 to 1700 per month. He announced of rupees 10000 for LAFH.


 


Earlier that newly president of LAFH Abdul Nasir briefed the participants about history of LAFH. He said that this organization came in to being in 1998  and working for needy and deserving people especially its trailing cases in courts for helpless women of Chitral. He determined to be streamline the LAFH for more service and giving relief to women folk of the district. Maulana Khaleequz Zaman Khateeb Shahi Masjid Chitral explained women rights in Islamic point of view. He said that Islam also stressed upon to help and support each other and no worship is acceptable before the Allah Almighty if endeavor and any body exploiting and snatching rights of other. Engineer Temour Shah performed as stage secretary who read message of Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan who assured the newly elected office bearers of LAFH for his full support.  A large number of people belonging to all walks of life including women folk attended the oath taking ceremony. The following are newly elected office bearers with their designation. Abdul Nasir president, Shahid Sahar vice president, Nizamuddin Advocate General Secretary, Fida Muhammad joint secretary, Hayatur Rehman press secretary and Iqbal Hayat Finance Secretary.
