Non-alcoholic Drinks for a New Year's Eve Party
What about A High-Five Freeze, a Cherry Bomb and some Berries and Caramel Mania for the New Year's Eve party? It doesn' t sounds bad at all. In fact, I think that nothing compares with some exclusive cockteils, prepared with love and with a smile on your face while thinking at the pleasure of your guests!
1. A High-Five Freeze
Makes 2 servings
A smoothie made with five different fruits doesn't get much better.
1/4 cup peach nectar (or nectar or juice of your choice)
1 tablespoon honey
3/4 cup peeled and diced mangos (1 mango)
3/4 cup peeled and diced papayas (1 papaya)
3/4 cup sliced bananas (1 banana)
3/4 cup peeled and diced peaches (1 peach)
3/4 cup diced fresh pineapples (1 pineapple)
1/2 cup crushed ice
Place the nectar, honey, mango, papaya, banana, peach, pineapple, and ice in a blender, and mix on low speed until the mixture is blended. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish each with a Pineapple Spear, if desired.
2. Cherry Bomb
Makes 2 servings
This cool indulgence explodes with the rich combination of cherry and strawberry flavors.
3/4 cup lowfat milk
1/2 tablespoon honey
1 cup stemmed and seeded Bing sweet cherries
1 cup sliced bananas (1 large banana)
1/2 cup diced strawberries
1 cup vanilla fat-free frozen yogurt
Place the milk, honey, cherries, banana, strawberries, and yogurt in a blender, and mix on low speed until the mixture is blended. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish each with a Pineapple, Banana, and other fruits.
3. Berries and Caramel Mania
This smoothie is a tribute to berries, not only because they are delicious to eat, but also because they're good for you. With the addition of caramel sauce and pralines and cream ice cream, this delectable treat achieves five-star status.
2/3 to 3/4 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup partially frozen diced strawberries
1/2 cup partially frozen blueberries
1/2 cup partially frozen raspberries
1/2 cup pralines and cream ice cream
Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix by using the on/off pulse function until the ingredients are mostly blended. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with Berries
