Sister Elswa Declared as 'Servant of God'

Sister Elswa, founder of the Carmelite Theresian Congregation (CTC) was declared as 'Servant of God' at a solemn function.

This is the first stage in the process of canonisation.

Latin Catholic Archbishop Daniel Acharuparambil read out the declaration after the Vatican's consent was received.
