Will you yell to your parents?
Yesterday I yelled to my mother. Because she doesn’t know what MSN is and I want to install the Messenger for her through the phone. My mother is 54 years old using the computer only for Office and Excel and rarely connects to the internet. Taking lots of effort I sent the software to her and registered a MSN account for her, but I can’t teach her how to install the software. It is weird that using the same software the display is different between her and me. When I think the installation had finished, she told me she couldn’t find the Windows Live Messenger or MSN to open it! Then I was out of control and yelled to her through the phone. She said she was unhappy and I yelled back I was unhappy too. She told me she could asked others to teach her and they wouldn’t yelled to her. Then I yelled back again that I could teach her better if I could see her. When the phone told me I had no money for the call, I hang up the phone without saying good night.
Some minutes later, I became calm. I discussed with my roommate and she said she would never yell to her parents and sisters. The threshold for her to be angry with the closest people is the highest but mine is the lowest. I didn’t call back until now. I know they will never be angry with me because they love me deeply. I know I am a bad child who yell to them but love them too. That is what happened to me, a Chinese girl. What will you do to your closest people, your parents? Have you ever yelled to them? Will you yell to them?
