lunar eclipse on August 16th midnight



Are you living in India, believe in solar eclipse, then GET ready for it to see in India. The eclipse in best visible by a telescope, to sight a partial spectacle of lunar eclipse on Saturday-Sunday midnight (August 16-17)!


It is estimated by astronomers that full moon is will be visibly appearing muddy red. It is also expected that people will be able to view it with light shades of hues as per atmospheric nature of a region.


According to astronomers, the full moon will come into the penumbra (lighter shadow) of the earth at around 11.50pm on August 16 night. The marginal lunar eclipse will start at 1.05pm on August 17. The sky at night will host about 80 per cent reddish moon at 2.03am. At this time the eclipse will become matured and by 4am it will recede completely.


In a lunar eclipse, the moon, earth and the sun, fall in the same rotational conjunction as the moon goes into the corner of a shadow cast by the planet earth.
 
Interestingly, this lunar eclipse will be visible to people across the Middle East, Asia, Africa where the moon is above the horizon of the earth, barring North American region, which is believed to remain out of this spectacle.
