1 dies, 2 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir



Girl consumes poison in Kulgam


Srinagar, January 28 (Scoop News) – One person died and two others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir valley.


In continuation to accident on 26.01.2012 at Hyhama crossing in district Kupwara, the injured Mohammad Sidiq Ganie son of Mohammad Hussain resident of Ganie Mohalla succumbed to his injuries. Case stands already registered.


A Maruti car bearing registration number JK13A-4103 hit and injured Shahbaz Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Bijbehara at Padshahi Bagh, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.


          A Bus bearing registration number JK01B-7431 hit and injured Shiraza Hilal daughter of Hilal Ahmad Wani resident of Shahpora at Shahpora, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganderbal. The injured was hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.

Girl consumes poison in Kulgam


A girl (name with held) of Hanjan, Behibagh in district Kulgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to SDH Kulgam where doctor declared her brought dead.


 


Body recovered  


Police retrieved body of Mohammad Amin Kaloo son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar from River Jhelum near Hanuman Mandir, Amira Kadal, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar. The deceased was missing since 17.09.2011 and report was lodged in Police Station Rajbagh on 19.09.2011. Inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard. 


Body identified


In continuation to recovery of an unidentified body from Domail Narbal, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Parimpora. The body was identified as Mohammad Maqbool Bhat son of Abdul Ahad resident of Mudyari, Pattan. The body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites after completing medico legal formalities.   


 


3 shops damaged in fire


In a fire incident at Main Market Kangan, three shops of Abdul Rashid Khan, Ghulam Mohammad Magray and Bashir Ahmad Mir was damaged. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident. Cause of fire is being ascertained.
