71 Persons injured in road mishaps in Kashmir

February 28, 2012 Police said that a passenger Bus bearing registration number JKU/6361 collided with an unidentified Bus near Wasikhan Sumbal, Bandipora, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal, resulting in injures to six passengers. The injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
Another passenger Bus bearing registration number JK09/467 on way from Devar to Kupwara turned turtle near Rednag, Kupwara, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Lalpora, resulting in injures to 62 passengers. All the injured were shifted to sub district hospital Kupwara for treatment, among them two passengers namely Abdul Khaliq Chopan son of Subhan resident of Diver and Khursheed Ahmad Shah son of Abdul Ahad resident of Diver Muqam has been referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
