Abhishek Kapoor,the Director of Rock On says 'Wow' after Filmfare

is very happy now for the rewards for the success of Rock On.

Rocking Kapoor says,

feel supremely happy about  the  recognition that Rock On has got at  the Filmfare awards. I’ve  watched  the awards open-mouted  from the  time  black-and-white  images  of  the screen legends  like Dilip Kumar and Schitra Sen  getting the awards . And to be getting a Filmfare trophy  on  the same  platform now is like...wow!"

The film bagged many awards. Kapoor won the Filmfare Award for Best Story, Purab Kohli won for Outstanding Performance, Arjun Rampal won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Farhan Akhtar won the Best Debutant award. The film also got awards for Best Sound Design and Best Cinematography.

The winning director alsoadds, "Rock On  could’ve gone wrong  on  many levels and at any stage. That it didn’t  is  just  such a  miracle. And Filmfare acknowledged that miracle. And I must say Ranbir Kapoor and Imran  Khan were  priceless as  anchors."
