April Recognition Award - Bruce Fisher

Bruce Fisher is a controversial figure.  He is passionate about a cause and has dedicated himself to righting a wrong.  His articles have attracted attention and have been read thousands of times each. 

Bruce has effectively used GroundReport to exercise his right to free speech.  He has expressed strong opinions and made accusations that have offended others.  A number of people have accused him of libel and tried to get his work suppressed.  These same people will probably be upset that he is being recognized for the impact of his work.

GroundReport.com is dedicated to providing a platform for ordinary people to publish the news and opinions that impact their lives without censorship.  GroundReport.com supports itself by selling ad impressions and text links.  Unfortunately, GroundReport.com does not earn enough money from advertising to pay for its computer infrastructure and staff.  It depends on donations to pay this shortfall as well provide monetary awards to its contributors.
