BCS ICT World 2008 starts its journey

The five days long and the biggest annual ICT event of this year in Bangladesh BCS ICT world 2008 have started in BCS Computer City.
This year the arrangement of this ICT event has come up with the theme of the journey towards digital Bangladesh. The fair, starting from today will last up to November 21, 2008. Everyday the fair will be open for its visitors from 10 in the morning till 8 in the night. Total 65 companies with 23 pavilions and 76 stalls sill participate in the fair. The main agenda of this year’s event is to make the mass more aware about the contribution and invention of ICT in the current fast world.
Yesterday Mr. Manik Laal Samaddar, Honorable Advisor of the Ministry of Science and Communication Technology or the Government of Bangladesh has inaugurated the fair through a gorgeous inaugural ceremony. Dr. SMA Fayez, Vice Chancellor of The University of Dhaka and Major General Manjurul Alam, Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regularity Commission  was also present there as the special guest. The whole inaugural event has been presided over by Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, President of Bangladesh Computer Samity.
Many High Ranked Officials, Head of many Educational Organizations, members from related other ICT Organizations like BASIS, ISPAB, and Business personals were present in the inaugural session.

After the inaugural session the fair made free for the visitors from afternoon.
