Carla and Sarkozy : Politically Apart from each other

Carla Sarkozy does not feel 'right' with the right-wing political views of her husband, the French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

In an interview with French Newspaper 'Liberation' she has admitted to problems in this regard because she is 'instinctively left wing' which does not permit her to contribute to the ideology of Mr.Sarkozy;but, she has added that this would not come in her way of voting for him as and when he stood  for an election.

Conservative people are totally alien to her world,but, in order to minimize the shocks her statements can cause in them, she has hired an adviser. Of course, she has already caused enough shocks with her views on monogamy and similar issues.

In addition to her responsibility as a first lady, she engages artists with dinner meets to cultivate her husband whose musical tastes does not transcend beyond 'Elvis Presley'. Her objective in doing this is to help him to communicate in a better way on things that he loves.

Her affairs with the President drew undue public attention and despite his popularity ratings taking a nose-drive, Sarkozy chose to marry her six months ago and their married life is so far so good.
