DC Leh sent 18 minor boys back to their home State Jharkhand

Leh, January 03 (Scoop News) –Acting on a communication from Deputy Commissioner, District Ghridi, Jharkhand State, 18 minor boys working as road laborers with BRO Upshi in Leh were sent back to their home state recently.

Assistant Labour Commissioner, Leh, Tadbar Joldan said, we identified the 18 school going boys from Jharkhand, engaged as laborers with BRO Upshi Leh, on the request of DC, Ghridi, Jharkhand and ensured their safe return through Jet Airways.

Earlier Deputy Commissioner, Leh Tsering Angchok sanctioned Rs: 63,000 in favour of these 18 boys for their safe journey and also provided them with warm clothing.
