Div Com Kashmir warns stern action against defaulters



  Srinagar, February 03 (Scoop News) –   Mobile Testing Lab is being introduced to check the purity of petroleum products being supplied to Valley.


            This was stated by the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon while chairing a high level meeting here today.


            The Mobile Testing Lab will check all tankers filled with petroleum products being supplied to Valley for any adulteration and any defaulting tanker driver will be arrested and dealt with under law.


            Earlier, Dr. Samoon held a Video Conference with all Deputy Commissioner’s of Valley to review the stock and supply position of essentials. He was told that adequate quantity of essentials is available in all the districts of the Valley.


            The Divisional Commissioner urged the District Development Commissioners to ensure adequate water and power supply in their district in view of predicted inclement weather.


            While interacting with Director CA&PDS, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad and representatives of Food Corporation of India and Valley based Oil Companies asked them to ensure stocking of additional quotas of kerosene oil, LPG and foodgrains.


            The District Development Commissioner, Srinagar,  Baseer Ahmad Khan, Director CA&PDS, Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, Joint Director Information Kashmir,  Itrat Hussain Rafique and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
