Dy. CM stresses for maintaining high standards of journalism
Srinagar, October 8 (Scoop News) - Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand today stressed for maintaining high standards of the journalism, adding that Kashmir media has played pivotal role in maintaining normalcy in the State after the long period of militancy.
Dy CM while inaugurated Helpline Advertising Service in the SDA building at Dood Ganga Complex here today said that media will continue to highlight the issues of public importance and caution the government about its short comings, if any..
Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda, Director Information, Khawja Farooq Renzushah, large number of journalists and officers of Civil and Police administration were present on the occasion.
While interacting with the management of the agency, Tara Chand said that the people, especially those associated with the media will take benefits of the facilities available in the newly established office. He stressed for providing quality services to the people.
Owner of the Agency, Haji Hayat briefed the guests about the functioning of the agency. He said that earlier due to paucity of accommodation the management was facing hardship, but now every effort will be made to provide quality services to the people, he added.
