The Outreach Programme, Jamia Millia Islamia  recently organized  a Discussion on ‘Female Gaze in Popular Culture’

writers  discussed on female gaze in context of Advertising, writing, Commercial cinma., Tv serials, Sexism ,Lookism & feminism. discussing on Popular culture  the panel agreed that 'Popular' merges  with religion and traditions .

speaking on the  potrayal of  female character in fiction/Non fiction with reference to Chicklet (a kind of  poular fiction Genre), the panel stressed Female characters are prominant nowadays

The discussion  took palce on 8th september at   Mir Anis Room, Dayar-i Mir Taqi Mir Administrative Block, Jamia Millia Islamia.
