Girl consumes poison in Anantnag,dies

Srinagar, February 06 (Scoop News) A girl (name with held) of Bafanddan, Cheni-Chowk in Anantnag consumed some poisonous substance at her home.

Police said she was shifted to district hospital Anantnag , where she succumbed. Police has registered a case.

2 injured in road mishaps

Two persons were injured in two different road accidents across Kashmir Valley.

A Truck bearing registration number JK02T-0261 hit one load carrier bearing registration number JK01L-4351 at Sanat Nagar Chowk, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Saddar, Srinagar, resulting in injuries to load carrier driver Javaid Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Rashid resident of Dawlat Pora, Chadoora. The injured was hospitalized. Police has registered a case .

In a similar incident, a Sumo bearing registration number JK03-4098 hit and injured Mohammad Amin Dar son of Habibullah resident of Ugjan Dialgam at Kamad Mode, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Anantnag. The injured was shifted to district hospital Anantnag. Police has registered a case.

House, shop damaged in fire incident

Two structures suffered damages in two fire incidents in Kashmir

Police said that fire broke out in the residential house of Qazi Ghulam Jeelani son of Ghulam Mustafa resident of Main Shah Sahab, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rainawari, Srinagar. The house was partially damaged in the incident. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

In a similar incident, Fire broke out in a tin roofed newly constructed shop stored with dry straw of Farooq Ahmad Ganaie son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Buchmohallah, Rajouri Kadal, Srinagar, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station M.R Gunj, resulting in damage to the shop as well as dry straw. No loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
