Grenade explosion in Srinagar, 5 including 3 police personal injured

Srinagar/Jammu,March 20 (Scoop News) –In a grenade expolsion in at Rainawari at about 08.35 pm this evening  two CRPF personnel, two civilians and one local policemen sustained minor injuries,Police said.

According to Police all injured were given first aid.

Meanwhile Jammu Police seized 105 liters of  illicit liquor and six drums of Lahan  from the possession of five persons during a raid against drug peddlers/persons indulging in illegal trade of distillation of illicit liquor  at  Bishnah amd Miran Sahib of Jammu district late last night.

Police said that  SP Hqrs Sh. Shailender Singh alongwith  Police teams of  Bishnah and Arnia Police Stations conducted series of raids under the jurisdiction of  Police Stations Bishnah and Miran Sahib   and destroyed more then six drums of lahan  and recovered about 105  ltrs of prepared illicit liquor from the possession  five persons . The accused were arrested and case under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPSA) has been registered at  concerned Police Stations.
