The ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India is seriously thinking about hiring private detectives to crackdown on cinema-hall owners, who show movies with clips from blue-films. This step has been adopted from regional censor board of Kerala, which hired the help of a detective agency and as a result got information about 104 such cinema halls.
The ministry has sent the proposal to planning commission for approval. At present, due to less turn-out of visitors in the cinema-halls, more and more hall owners across India show movies interspersed with clips from porn movies.
