INNOVATION AND CIGARETTES.......A MORALE FOR EVERY YOUNG HEART
A famous writer once quoted " Need is the mother of all inventions". An entrepreneur takes advantage of this very stimulation factor of the common man and makes something that was once inconceivable. An real incident exists that would infuse a sense of fervour in every young and energetic heart.
There was a person who used to ring bells in the church. One fine morning he was called by the priest and was told to resign from the job. The victim was stunned and asked the reason. He was told that the management of the church have decided to appoint a graduate at his post. The person pleaded but in vain. Dejected and gloomily he was descending down the steps of church when he had an urge to smoke. But there were no shops nearby. Suddenly he thought that many persons come down the steps everyday ,some are in pensive states while some are cheerful. Both states of mind can urge for a smoke.
Going by his idea he opened a small cigarette shop nearby. Days went by and slowly months passed away. In next 5 years he was the leading manufacturer of a particular brand of cigarettes of USA.
Once he was travelling by his private plane when a journalist asked him " Sir! you are of the billionares and leading entrepreneurs of America. But only few know that you have not done your basic schooling also. If you had completed with your studies you might have been somewhere else?" The person gave a wry smile and replied " You are right Sir! Had i done my studies i would have been somewhere else". He gave a sigh and continued" I had been to my old church , RINGING BELLS"
The morale of the story is that success knows no education . It requires the basic innovative skills and a die hard determination.
