Is Amazon Web Services Down Again?

Amazon Web Services appears to have gone down again this afternoon, December 11, 2011.  aws.amazon.com is timing out and though a bulletin board says that the cloud service's network status is 'green' , it is not possible to log in and post a trouble ticket.

This would be the fourth service outage for AWS this year.    The last outage in September lasted for 12 hours and hit the Northern Virginia elastic cloud. 

It makes one wonder about the reliablity of the cloud.

All of my company's web sites are down during one of the most important shopping days of the year.
