Islamic Scholars, Ulemas & Writers pays homage to Shah-i-Hamdan (RA)

            Srinagar, November 28 (Scoop News) - A grand Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) Conference was organised by Bazm-e-Hamdania, Jammu and Kashmir at Srinagar today in which a galaxy of Islamic Scholars, Ulemas and Writers paid great homage to Shah-i-Hamdan (RA). Grand Mufti of Jammu and Kashmir state, Mufti Bashir-u-Din Farooqi presided over the conference.

            The Patron of Bazm-e-Hamdania, Moulvi Khurshid Kanangoo, Moulana Syed-ur-Rehman Shams, Dr. M Aslam Andrabi, Moulana Ghulam Rasool Hami, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah, Moulana Mohammad Toyub Shah Kamili, Moulana Abdul Haq Owaisi, Dr. Bashir Ahmad Nehvi and Tariq Ali Mir of Kashmir Uzma presented their papers.

            Highlighting the contribution of great Sufi Saint Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) in the valley of Kashmir, the speakers said that Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) spread the message of love and brotherhood across the valley and changed the scenario of humanity of the population of Kashmir. The speakers said that Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) who came with a mission love and brotherhood to Kashmir not only spread the Islamic teachings but also provided employment opportunities by creating handicraft art among the people of the valley which raised their life standard.

            The speakers also paid rich tributes to Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) and said that his contribution will be remembered till eternity and people shall follow his teachings based on Islamic ideology, brotherhood and spirituality. They said his teachings have given boost to the Sufism in Kashmir and has made its roots more strong than ever.

            The scholars, ulemas and other renowned personalities who were present in large number expressed their opinion that thoughts of love and brotherhood inculcated by Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) in Kashmir and are required to be highlighted. The scholars were of the opinion that entire valley of Kashmir particularly Shehri-Khaas is always been blessed by great spiritual Aulia Kirams. The new generation are required to be made aware of their great contribution in forming the society and making this place abode of knowledge and spiritual thoughts.

            The galaxy of great Aulia Kirams and Sufi Saints from the time of Hazrat Bulbul Shah (RA), Hazrat Amir Kabir (RA), Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA), Hazrath Pir Dastgeer Gousul Azam (RA), Hazrath Makhdoom Sahib (RA) and thousands of such sufi saints have raised the status of valley of Kashmir to the heights and people throughout world have acknowledged the fact that knowledge based Kashmir is the source of great spiritual Sufi knowledge.

            The speakers referred the world famous books written by Shah-i-Hamdan (RA) including “Chahal Israr” and other spiritual books authored by him. The special references were made about his contribution in Kashmir in the form of Avradi Fatehia”. The speakers said the recitation of Avradi Fateha in each and every mosque of Kashmir valley is the indication of respect of people of Kashmir towards such contribution.
