J&K Minister flags off Kashmir children for Kolkata

                Budgam/Srinagar, January 24 (Scoop News) -Minister for Medical Education, Youth Servics and Sports,  R.S. Chib today flagged off a batch of 20 children for Kolkata and other places of the country at a function held at Humhama here today under Sadhbhavana Scheme. These children are proceeding by air to Kolkata. The function was organised by BSF Kashmir Range. The children of this batch belong to Tangdhar-Karnah, uri, Bandipora, Kupwara and Srinagar.

                The IG, BSF Range, S. Baljit Singh, DIG, E.S. Rana and the parents of children were present on the occasion.

                Addressing on the occasion,  Chib said that such tours provide an opportunity for understanding multicultural history and the progress made in Science and Technology, Agriculture Industries etc of the country. He said these children will also visit various historical places besides interacting with other students of the country.
