JK Governor,CM expresses grief over road accident

Jammu,February 18 (Scoop News) – N. N. Vohra, Governor, has expressed grief over the death of six persons in a road accident at Khooni Nallah on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district today.

In a message, the Governor expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in this tragic accident.

Being seriously concerned with the continuing frequency of fatal road accidents, the Governor is convening an urgent meeting with the Transport Minister and others concerned to discuss the to date position of the remedial measures already taken by the State Government.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has expressed grief over the road accident at Khooni Nallah on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

In a condolence message, Omar Abdullah conveyed his sympathy with the bereaved families.

He directed the Administration to provide all required treatment to the injured in accident.

Minister of State for Power, Transport and CAPD, Shabir Ahmad Khan and MLA, Kulgam M. Y Tarigami have expressed grief over the death of six persons in a road accident at Khooni Nallah on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district today.

In a condolence message, they expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in this tragic accident.

It may be mentioned here that in Morning Six people, including four members of a family, were killed and four others injured in a road accident at Khoni Nalla on Srinagar-Jammu national highway

In a tragic road accident a vehicle number JK04A-8621 on way from Jammu to Srinagar met with an accident at Khoni Nalla resulting in death of 6 persons (including 4 from the same family) and injuries to four persons.
The names of the deceased are Mohammed Yaqoob son of Ghulam Mohammed Sheikh,Shamima wife of Mohammed Yaqoob, Qaunsar daughter of Mohammed Yaqoob,Neelofar daughter of Mohammed Yaqoob of Shalimar,Srinagar, Faizan son of Farooq Ahmed of Habakadal,Muskaan daughter of Mohammed Ashraf R/o Habbakadal

The names of the injured are Ulfat daughter of Mohammed Yaqoob Sheikh of Shalimar,Navla wife of Noor Mohammaed of Shalimar, Parveen wife of Mohammed Shafi of Tailbal,Fahmeedah wife of Farooq Ahmed of Habakadal.
Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
