MOS Home , IGP Kashmir visits blast victims



Srinagar, March 22 (Scoop News) – MOS  Home, Nasir Aslam Wani accompanied by Inspector General of Police S.M. Sahai visited the Bijbhera blast victims at SMHS and SKIMS Soura.


               As been reported in a blast at Bijbhera, this afternoon one person died and 14 others were injured. Nine injured persons including four CRPF personnel who were on ROP duty have been admitted in SKIMS Soura, three in SMHS  and  two of injured have been admitted in Bones and joints Hospital Srinagar.


        This Minister expressed his sympathy and assured all possible help from the Government and directed the doctors to provide all medical assistance to the injured.


            Among others Deputy Inspector General of police, Central Kashmir Range-CKR and SSP Srinagar Ashiq Hussain Bukhari and other officers were also accompanying the minister.


 


As earlier reported One person was killed while 10 others including security forces personnel  were injured in a powerful car blast which took place on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway near Bijbehara, this afternoon.


 The identity of the deceased person could not be ascertained, however, the injured were identified as, Ghulam Mohamad Danger son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Bijbehara, Ashiq Kabri son of Mohammad Ramzan resident of Tral, Ghulam Mohammad Bhat son of Abdul Ghani resident of Panzalpora-Bijbehara, Ghulam Qadir Singh son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Bijbehara, Asif, Misra wife of Ghulam Qadir Singh resident of Bijbehara, Manzoor Ahmad Najar resident of Chursoo.  The security forces personnel include- Constable Bajrang, Sanjeev and another constable whose identity could not be ascertained. All of them belong to Central Reserve Police Force-CRPF, 90 Battaliion, who were deployed on Road Opening duties.
