Sadbhavana touring Moulvies meet Governor
Jammu, March 8 (Scoop News) - A group of 20 Moulvies from the various remote and far-flung areas of Baramulla district, back from their tour to places of religious, historical and monumental importance in Rajasthan, met the Governor, N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here this evening and shared with him the rich experiences of their visit.
During their visit to places in Rajasthan, organized by the Army’s 52 Rashtriya Rifles, the touring group from Nowgon Kandi, Rajpora, Shirpora Kandi, Bandi Balla, Delina, Hodipura, Dardpura, Tarzoo, Sagri Bhatpora, Khaipura Pain, Wahigund Pain, Khamipura, Nadirgund, Mahomad Pora, Baba Khaipora Devedeger and Wahigund Bala, visited Jaipur and

Interacting with the group, the Governor enquired from them their impressions of the places they had visited, the people they had interacted with and the experiences they had gained during the tour. They said that it was a lifetime opportunity for them to have visited several historical and religious places in Rajasthan. For many of them it was their first ever visit to any place outside
The Governor urged the Moulvies to work devotedly, in their respective areas, for the restoration of sustained peace and normalcy in the State, adding that these are essential pre-requisites for progress and prosperity and securing a bright future for our youth. The Moulvies presented a memento to the Governor.
The Principal Secretary to the Governor, R. K. Goyal, was present on the occasion.
The group was accompanied by Maj. Umesh Swami and five Army personnel who had accompanied the Moulvies on the tour.
