Sheikh-ul-Alam University J&K organises grand seminar at Ganderbal



Ganderbal/Srinagar,January 27 (Scoop News) – A seminar on “Mohabat-o-Azmat Ahle-Bait” was held at Qamaria Boys Secondary School here today. Organised by Sheikh-ul-Alam Research University in collaboration with Karwan Islami, J&K was attended by various Ulemas and religious scholars besides large number of people.


The President Karwan Islami J&K, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami presided over the seminar.


Those who addressed the seminar include Mufti Mohammad Manzoor Raza Qadiri, Maulana Mohammad Wali Mohammad Rizvi, Maulana Showkat Hussain Keng, Maulana Khurshid Ahmad Qanoongo, Prof Khurshid Ahmad Qureshi, Director Tourism, Farooq Ahmad Shah, Maulana Sheikh Aijaz, Abdul Rehman Sofi, Maulana Abdul Rashid Dar, Qari Zulfiqar Ahmad, Qari Mohammad Ashraf Rizvi, Maulana Abdul Qayoom, Maulana Manzoor Ahmad Qadiri, . Ishfaq Gowhar, Maulana Ghulam Hassan Bhat, Maulana Farooq Ahmad and . Ghulam Ahmad Sheikh.


The Ulemas and religious scholars highlighted the importance of having love and affection for Ahle-bait. The Ulemas and scholars appreciated the efforts of Karwan Islami President Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami and his other members for establishing the Sheikh-ul-Alam Research University and said it would go a long way in spreading both religious and modern education in the state.


Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami in his presidential address said that Imam Abu Haneefa has spent two years for obtaining religious education from Hazrat Imam Jaffer Sadiq (RA) and thus got highest status.


A blood donation camp was also held on the occasion, in which scores of people donated blood, Maulana Ghulam Rasool Hami inaugurated the camp by donating blood.
