A suicide attack on a security forces convoy kills 27

Hangu, Kohat: A suicide bomber attacks a Police check post at Doaba in Hangu, kills 27 and injures dozens.

A powerful explosion near the Police check post at Doaba, in north Western Pakistan, claims 20 lives, according to reports.

The suicide bomber blew himself up with his explosive-laden car when a convoy of security forces was passing by.

In the incident the Police check post has totally been destroyed and it was a very powerful explosion.

The injured were taken to district hospital Kohat and the death toll may rise because the bomber had targeted the Police check post along with the convoy.

The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan’s spokesperson, Maulvi Omar claimed the responsibility of the Hangu suicide attack.

He said that these suicide attacks will continue unless Pakistan government does not stop the cross border US drone attacks.

These drone attacks are killing innocent tribal people and violating the sovereignty of Pakistan.

Eventually, the Taliban and insurgents have been targeting the security forces, their check posts and even the training centers.

The recent attack of the terrorists on the Manawan Police academy is one of the luminous examples.

Moreover, the security across the country has been put on high alert according to media sources.
