How Epics blend to contemporary stories

Most of us knows that the Ramayana and the Mahabrata are the epic stories for Indians  but how can we can make it contemporary  is the question ?

It is difficult to make the Ramayana into a contemporary novel . will the characters blend itself into modern times I dont think so . There will be no ideal king who will drive his wfe for his subject. In these days when sons kill the parents for money i dont think there is a son who will live comforts or his kingdom just at the word of his father . As for brothers there is nothing to write about. one author has written Sita can be written as a single parent who brought up her children . I am usually awary of Rama because he drove his wife away inspite of knowing that she is innocent . Lord Rama is an ideal king , son brother but not an ideal husband.

About Mahabaratha one can write and I think we have an author who has written contemporary Mahabhartha . Draupadi is the character is I adore she is strong , loves her husbands and also brave to point his follies. All the characters the Pandavas are brought to the world by  artificial insemination
