Is a jealous partner danger to your career?

If the gossip is to be believed, Bollywood actor Salman Khan had once asked Katrina to avoid working with Akshay Kumar due to the cramp of killing jealousy that panged acute in the heart of our Sallu bhai. Centuries back, even in the Shakespearan tragedy Othello, jealousy was the prime cause that, at the end of the day, took the plot of the novel to a tragic climax.

The pang of jealousy is too acute to hide. When it goes into the mind of a human being, it does nothing but making him/her made, wacky, lunatic and on and on. There have been a lot alterations in a man’s personality, but the jealousy hasn't aged up till now.

The character of Uma Thurman as G-Girl, in the recent comedy “My Super Ex-Girlfriend”, is so expressive of the pangs of jealousy when she, on being jealous of the relationship of her boyfriend with his female colleague, smashes his work meetings, rips his clothes off in the air and leaves him completely nude in the boardroom.

It is not just about Salman-Katrina’s relation, Shakespeare’s Othello narrative, Uma Thurman, and rivalry between Bush-McCain and Obama, but it is all about the feeling that lasts and survives forever.

 Besides fiction, is it worth living with somebody that doesn't think twice ahead of meddling within your professional life depended upon unsubstantiated and groundless suspicions?
