ISLAMABAD:President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani are reluctant to meet with the British special envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Sir-Sherad Cowper-Coles who is presently visiting the country,Geo News Reported

According to sources,the government has expressed its resentment over Pakistani students arrest in Britain in the absence of evidence and the ensuing media trial.

The British envoy was to meet President and Prime Minister but they refused in protest of the above.

Meanwhile,Pakistani High Commission in Britain,Wajid Shams ul Hasan has said London should offer an apology to Islamabad.
