PNW Serial Killers: Is It Something In The Water?

Here in the Pacific Northwest we have a microclimate like that in Italy. Here the finest grape is grown and the wheat thrives with abundance. Onions, potatoes, peas, carrots and even asparagus are popular PNW treats. Something else grows here in abundance as well, Serial killers.

What is it about the PNW that attracts such killers as Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway and Robert Yates to kill?

Is it our fine parks or forested suburbs? Is it the warm weather and the scant clothing of the victims? Is it the environment and the weather that affects such people and motivates them to kill?

Serial killers tend to need large cities in which to find a subject to kill and the PNW is equiped with Seattle and Spokane. What makes the PNW a supreme spot to kill though? Is it the massive undeveloped land or the continued rain season? Is it the fact that there is so much open space and plenty of room to go undetected? Is it in the water?

There are many things that the onions need here, but it is said that the water makes them sweet yet hot. I wonder if them good old Walla Walla Sweets have something to do with it, or if its just the irrigation water used to make them sweet and hot. Gary Ridgeway sits in the Washington State Penitentiary in Walla Walla and Robert Yates claimed his first victim here in Walla Walla. It is that good OLE ‘Many Waters’ (Walla Walla) that make them onions taste the way they do. Alma Smith, a Green River victim was from Walla Walla and she was one of Gary’s first victims. It is funny how things here go full circle. It really must be the water. Robert Yates ‘s first victims were a couple he killed near the Walla Walla water shed. Is it something beyond reasoning? It is hard to tell, but I do think it comes from the water. The indians knew something that we did not.
