Poetic Justice

For my Toastmasters speech tonight, I will be retelling the classic folktale, “Paul Bunyan.” The challenge is that there are so many different versions that I’m not sure which version to develop into a 7-9 minute speech. 

Should I just create my own version? What would you do? Thanks for your input. I will let you know how the speech turns out.
