Pakistani Police Release Sketches of Cricket Attackers
Lahore, Punjab: The Pakistani Police have released the sketches of the attackers on the Sri Lankan cricket team, killed six policemen and a driver.
Up to 14 gunmen took part in the attack and the footages from the incidents were shown all over country on different TV channels.
The provincial government is under severe for not doing enough for the security of the Lankan players and some experts say that the attackers took the advantage from the political unrest in the province.
The police have prepared the sketches of the four assailants and they are being shown on the TV channels across the country, an effort to track down the perpetrators.
The disqualified Sharif brothers from the elected office accused the provincial government of taking wrong decisions about the security of the Lankan team.
The top priority of the police escorts to protect them and transport them to safe location, they were not meant to combat the gunmen, the Police commissioner said.
